Identification of containers and skids
Containers are widely used in production and shipping - for instance, as small parts containers (KLT), pallet cages, Schäfer type stacking boxes or special skids for wheels. Material flow documents such as job cards, material cards and/or Kanban cards contain information which is important for the material flow and for processing. Traditionally, these documents are printed on paper and protected by a laminate and/or wallets with adhesive backing, wire clips or magnetic backing. Frequently these will not withstand the stresses of a typical production environment.
S+P Samson GmbH has set itself the task to develop simpler and more functional solutions. Documents made from GRAPHIPLAST® are virtually indestructible and are much easier to attach to the container. Once they are attached to the container, the plastic tags or labels can withstand high and low temperatures as well as acids and alkali.
Your benefits at a glance:
- Light-fast and weather-resistant
- Virtually indestructible
- Ideal for internal transport and shipping
- Ideal for barcode identification and automatic data capture
- Fast, high resolution data output
Durable strong adhesion
GRAPHIPLAST® labels and tags are particularly tough and resistant to mechanical impact and destruction. In direct contact they can withstand temperatures of up to 580°C without any problems. Your benefit: a punched hole makes fastening with wire clips quick and easy. Alternatively, GRAPHIPLAST® labels can also have adhesive strips or adhesive fields applied and so enable easy sticking and removal without residue. Costly wallets which often make handling very cumbersome can therefore be eliminated.
A simple solution for reliable identification
GRAPHIPLAST® labels and tags provide a simple and reliable identification solution for our customers: our labels and tags can be printed easily with conventional laser or thermal transfer printers – either as a sheet or a continuous roll. The use of ribbons also enables reliable identification for environments with rough handling.
